Andy Follette and the Bluescasters have been impressing Blues Enthusiasts in Dutchess County for years!! They've opened for Big Headliners like The Fabulous Thunderbirds, SouthSide Johnny and the Asbury Jukes and even Chuck Berry...and have played venues in and around Poughkeepsie, New York City, New Jersey and the Albany-area for over 20 years. Big Joe Fitz of WDST (100.1), host of the "Blues Break" (10pm to Midnight Sunday nights) has been praising the accomplishments of this band for many years! The band's beginnings came from relationships formed when Andy hosted the Blues Jams held at "Sidetracked Bar and Eatery" on Parker Avenue in Poughkeepsie for over a decade.
The band is a Smokin' Poughkeepsie-based blues trio whose driving rhythm , soulful guitar and vocals really gets crowds on their feet!!! Don't forget to check the Schedule page here regularly...
